Frankly, I am not so sure that the world needs new blogs about software development! In any case, my InCycle colleagues and I pretty much decided together to try and share our ALM and VSTS hands-on experiences. As consultants, we collectively visit many development teams and see what types of solutions and approaches they put in place around managing a dev project with VSTS. Sometimes we help in putting these solutions in place, that’s how we earn a living after all, and sometimes we are just amazed at our customer’s creativity.
We all have a lot of areas of interest in common while other areas are more of a focus for each of us. In my case, I am very interested in how teams can improve over time from project to project. I expect I’ll be blogging about improvement programs, team structure and organization, methodologies and specifically about all that is development metrics for .NET teams.
Oh, by the way, this is my first blog and I am sure that over time I’ll break pretty much all the generally accepted blogging rules, but I figure I’ll eventually get the hang of it.
I sincerely hope this proves useful to someone at the end of the day!
